Nagpur: Covid-19 Update Around 12 policemen posted at various police stations in Nagpur city, including a woman, tested Covid-19 positive after they returned from Pune and went to attend a training between 30 August and this month 9 September.
It has also been learned that close to 33 policemen had gone to (MIA) Maharashtra Intelligence Academy to attend a training session as part of their refresher course module.
After coming out of training, some policemen started developing covid symptoms, and after all this the top officials asked and suggested those policemen to go for tests.
Police of Nagpur City is now coordinating with the Health Department of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) to shift all the affected patients to various institutional quarantine centres and also contact tracing of all policemen affected by covid-19 has also started on a war of footing.
DCP (Headquarters) Sandeep Pakhle agpur city police chief name Amitesh Kumar and joint CP Aswati Dorje and are keeping a strict vigil on all precautionary measures.
Under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, Dr Sandeep Shinde, further tests are going on at the police hospital in Takli.
6 Covid-19 Positive Cases
Nagpur: 6 new covid positive cases were found in Nagpur city on Sunday and not a single case has been found in rural or outside the area.
It is worth mentioning here that in September this month, the figure of the rate of people who died of covid is still stable. So far, a total of 49,3120 covid-19 positive patients have been found and the death toll from covid-19 remains around 10,119.
In the last 24 hours, 6 persons have recovered from the disease caused by Covid-19. And the latest update is that a total of 4,82,938 people have been successfully recovered in the district.
The total recovery rate from the COVID-19 virus in Nagpur district is 97.94% and the cumulative figure of active cases is similar to 63 on Saturday.
