Property worth Rs 40 lakh destroyed in building fire

Officials of the fire department have said that no casualty has been reported yet and the cause of this dangerous fire is yet to be ascertained.

Nagpur: Property worth more than Rs 40 lakh was burnt due to a very dangerous fire in 1 ground plus 3 commercial cum residential building on Besa Road late on Tuesday night.

According to officials, the massive fire broke out at Sai Shraddha Apartment at around 11.50 pm. The first two floors of the building including the ground floor were used for commercial purposes. There are also 2 establishments in this ground floor – 1 was a shoe shop owned by Ram Ramesh Bhoyar. And another a food shop owned by Krushikesh Patel.

Officials have said that this massive fire may have started from the ground floor, This massive fire had engulfed the first floor itself and then on the second and third floors this fierce fire damaged the residential flats.

Fire engulfed bakery

Ram Ramesh shoe shop was gutted due to this fire and the loss is estimated to be around Rs 15 lakh. And then there was a huge fire in the food joint and there was a loss of about Rs 30,000. However, firefighters were successful in extinguishing this dangerous fire.

This fierce fire had also engulfed the bakery on the first floor. Computers, laptops, fridges, ovens, bakery equipment, and raw materials worth about Rs 25 lakh were gutted.

The fire brigade personnel were completely successful in dousing this horrific fire. Before this dangerous fire engulfed the household items inside the flats.

Firefighters from NMC’s Fire and Emergency Services Department caught 3 more fires. Including 2 houses and 1 decoration firm on the day of Navi Friday. Near Lokmanya Nagar Metro Station on Hingna Road near Sadar Azad Chowk during the night time on Tuesday. took part in the calls. 1st Fire started due to leakage in the gas cylinder. 2nd Because of electrical failure. And 3rd fire broke out due to bursting of firecrackers.
