Khasdar Expo to help create jobs, invest: Gadkari

He was speaking at the inauguration of the first of its kind event to be held in the city at MIDC Industries Association (MIA) in Hingna.

Nagpur: Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister, said on Saturday that Khas Udyog Mahotsav (industrial exhibition) will go a long way in attracting investment and generating employment in the Vidarbha region.

He was speaking at the inauguration of the first of its kind event to be held in the city at MIDC Industries Association (MIA) in Hingna. MP Vikas Mahatne, MSME Director Prashant Parlewar and MIDC Industries Association CEO Dr Shegaonkar also attended the same event.

Nitin Gadkari has said that he always discusses the development of the Vidarbha region, But it never gives any attention at all to how to go about it. If the sector has to develop, then they must encourage and motivate the entrepreneurs. Youth should be encouraged to become entrepreneurs and set up innovative industries.

MIDC gives more concessions

Emphasizing the need to use brand new technology, The city MP has said that industrialists should find new ways and means.

Nitin Gadkari has also said that at present it is possible to make paint from cow dung. Due to this entrepreneurship will also increase in rural areas and employment will also be created. There are also many commodities, especially in agriculture, rural and tribal, backward areas, Where it is also possible to establish the industry. With the increase in the production of industrial in these areas, employment opportunities will also increase significantly. They also have an opportunity to make indigenous products exportable by using modern technology.

The minister has also called upon MIDC to prepare a policy to start those industries which are currently completely closed in Hingna or make way for others. He has said that if MIDC gives more concessions to start the industry in backward areas, then those areas will also develop. Even if those industrializations are decentralized, and industries will also develop in such areas.
