Covid-19 Update: Washim and Akola had registered deaths, Nagpur reported 4 new cases

Overall the situation of coronavirus in Vidarbha district is now under control. Of the nearly 9,500 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, only 13 have tested positive for coronavirus.

Nagpur: For the third consecutive day on Sunday in Vidarbha district, only one death has occurred due to coronavirus.

A 50-year-old woman admitted in Buldhana died.The woman was in a very serious co-morbid condition. With this death, the figure of Vidarbha district has reached about 21,369. Akola and Washim had recorded the deaths on Saturday and Friday respectively. On Sunday, along with Buldhana district, news of death has been received from neighboring districts in Amravati district division.

Overall the situation of coronavirus in Vidarbha district is now under control. Of the nearly 9,500 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, only 13 have tested positive for coronavirus. With 11 in Buldhana district and 12 in Nagpur district, around 29 patients have fully recovered within a day. With more recoveries and fewer new coronavirus cases, the number of patients under treatment has come down to about 152 as of Sunday. The approximately 11,19,896 coronavirus cases reported, about 10,98,330 patients have been cured so far, which means a 98% recovery rate.

Wardha: Not a single new positive case has been found on Sunday after about 272 tests were conducted in the district. Recovery, caseload and toll remained unchanged at 48,069, 49,399 and 1,326 respectively.

Yavatmal: There has been no change in the death toll due to non-receipt of any death on Sunday. And now this number is about 1,787. Presently the treatment of 9 active coronavirus positive patients is going on. The administration has received reports of 729 coronavirus.

Out of which 2 have been found to be coronavirus positive. The test positivity rate of the district is 9.71% and the fatality rate of the district is 2.45% and the daily positivity rate of the district is 0.27%. There are around 2,174 coronavirus beds across the district. Out of which only 7 GMCs are in use in Yavatmal. And the rest are lying vacant till about 2,167.

Chandrapur: The spike of four coronavirus cases in the district against one recovery alone has led to around 39 active cases being treated on Sunday. The district’s toll has remained constant at 1,541.

Amravati: None of the 93 Covid-19 samples positive in the amravati district on Sunday. With no deaths reported, the number of active cases of coronavirus under treatment has remained at 12.

Akola: All the 385 tests of coronavirus done in the last 24 hours in the district have come negative. Any patient is fine. A total of 16 patients are now undergoing treatment in the district.

Washim: A fresh patient has been detected in the district on Sunday. While one patient from Washim district has recovered well. The district retained the number of patients under treatment at around 5.

Buldhana: Apart from one death in the district, no new coronavirus case has been reported from Buldhana district on Sunday. While 11 coronavirus patients have been cured. Now treatment of about 18 patients is going on in Buldhana.

Bhandara: Out of 330 coronavirus tests conducted in the last 24 hours, only one was positive. Due to which the total case load has now reached about 60,096. About 2 patients are now under treatment in Bhandara.

Gondia: Zero case has been registered in the district as all the 258 corona tests conducted in the last 24 hours were negative. At present, 4 coronavirus patients are undergoing treatment. 3 Patients are in home isolation while one patient is in the hospital.

Gadchiroli: A total of 674 tests have been conducted in the district out of the last 24 hours. Out of which only one report has been found positive. Out of Gadchiroli, only one patient has been cured on Sunday. Due to this the number of patients under treatment now remains unchanged at 14.
