Nagpur: Miscreants posing as police personnel on Thursday robbed four senior citizens of their very valuable belongings in separate incidents on Thursday.
This first incident happened just near CP’s club in Civil Lines. When two youths on a motorcycle stopped Shreepad Patil (75) on the morning walk on the pretext of informing about the robbery in Civil Lines. One of them even gave Shreepad Patil a piece of paper to keep his ring and gold chain. After that, both of them had fled with the valuables. Then later the police of Ambazari was informed.
Then the second incident took place at around 8.45 am, just near the MIDC T-point, When miscreants on motorcycle had stopped one Suresh Bhagat (62, resident of Urvela Colony, Wardha Road), Who was returning home after leaving his wife in Lata Mangeshkar hospital. The riders on the bike had told Suresh Bhagat that a woman had been murdered several meters ahead and the attackers were on a robbery spree. He then used the same trick in Patil’s case and then deceived Suresh Bhagat with one of his chains and two gold rings.
