Synopsis: Amazon Prime is often known to bring out a series of thrill, crime and comedy genres, however, this time it seems to have decided to come out with something new. Bandish Bandits is a musical drama series, which seems something new for the audience. The series is directed by Anand Tiwari, while it has a star cast like Shreya Chaudhry and Ritwik Bhowmik. Besides the two, the series has actors like Atul Kulkarni, Rajesh Tailang, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Sheeba Chaddha in the other roles.
The series is all set to stream on Amazon from 4th August. Most of the parts of this series have been shot in Rajasthan and Mumbai. The makers have taken palatial heritage hotel Laxmi Niwas Palace as their location to shoot the series. Now, talking about the plot, the series deals with a fusion of two people from different musical backgrounds. Radhe is played by Ritwik Bhowmik who is an aspiring Hindustani classical singer. He comes from the fictional Rathod gharana of Jodhpur. He is seen teaming up with the lady Tamanna played by Shreya Chaudhry who is a pop sensation from Mumbai. The two collaborate to embark with the name – Bandish Bandits. So, what goes next is interesting to explore. The makers have released the trailer and it seems to be getting a decent response.
