Dayaben returns after more than 4 years on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, confirms producer Asit Kumar Modi

The comedy series which narrates the daily life of the members of Gokuldham Samaj with a humorous twist is one of the most loved shows in the country as well. The character of Dayaben, essayed by Disha Vakani, has also been one of the most popular characters in the show due to his quirky personality. However, Disha Vakani has been missing from the screen for more than four years now.
While there was always a ray of hope among fans that actress Disha Vakani would finally make a comeback on the show, The show’s producer Asit Kumar Modi has now finally confirmed that the show will see Dayaben again later this year. He has said that he has absolutely no reason at all to not reprise the character of Daya Ben in any way. But all of them have faced much more difficult times in recent times.
The year 2020-21 has been a very difficult period for all of us. But now that things have gotten much better, In the year 2022 any good time we are going to bring back the character of actress Daya Ben in the show, and the audience will also get to see a lot of entertainment from Jethalal and Daya Bhabhi once again.
However, the producer has also said that they are yet to decide who will play the character of actress Dayaben. They still do not know at all whether Disha Vakani will come back as Daya Ben or not. He still has a very good relationship with actress Disha ji, they have been like a family.
But now she is married and has a child and everyone gets very busy with their respective responsibilities. We all have our own personal life, that’s why they won’t comment on it at all.
