Free workshop for disabled students from October 12 in City

The Kalyan Deaf and Dumb School based at Reshmibagh will be getting an opportunity to attend the free workshop on different forms of art by the known artists from the city. The students of Samvedana Autistic School apart from others would be participating in it. The workshop has been organized by the known city artist Neha Munje under her initiative called ArtistiKa. It will be orgnaised between 12th and 13th Oct 2019 at Kusumtai Wankhede Hall, which is located at NA Road from 11 am to 9 pm.
As per reports, different forms of art like the watercolor painting, calligraphy, dot painting, Acrylic painting, wall painting, and mandala would be included in the workshop sessions. The key objective of the workshop is to empower the disabled students in different forms of art that can help them earn and make the same as their key source of income. Ther are several known portrait artists like Arun Morghade who would be contributing to the workshop.
Arun would be inaugurating the workshop, while Praful Dekate will be addressing the students and others in the workshop on watercolor painting. The other day Atul Pardhi would be guiding the students on Mural art. Besides, the women artists would be helping the students to learn the art of making dolls from the waste paper along with the mushy doll work.
