In 8 Vidarbha districts no new cases, 13 recover

Nagpur: For the first time in the last 10 days, the Vidarbha region recorded a single-digit increase in the cases of new coronavirus on Monday. And only 8 new covid cases were reported in this region – 2 each from Chandrapur and Yavatmal districts and 4 from Nagpur. The remaining 8 districts did not find any new cases.

Due to Sunday being a holiday, the tests have come down to 4,589. No death was reported in this area on Monday.

The positivity rate of the test is 0.17%, which is very low. The recovery rate of the Vidarbha region has been consistently above 98 percent. With more recovery than new covid cases in 1 day, the number of patients under treatment has decreased and has come down to 165. Except 73 in district Nagpur, most of the covid patients are in home isolation.

Wardha: No new covid positive case, death, or recovery report has come in this district on Monday. The toll, caseload, and recovery remained unchanged at 1,326, 49,434, and 48,101, respectively. Along with this, 148 test reports have been received, While none was positive for covid. There are 3 active covid positive patients under treatment in this district.

Yavatmal: No one died on Monday, keeping the toll unchanged at 1,788 in the district. Presently 27 active covid positive patients are under treatment. The administration has received 142 reports in the district, out of which 2 were found to be covid positive.

Amravati: Out of the 440 samples tested in the district, not a single one was found positive on Monday and the total recovery of one has gone up to 94,584. With no death reported in the district, the number of active covid cases under treatment has come down to 14.

Chandrapur: On Monday, 2 cases have come out. Due to no recovery, the number of active corona patients has increased to 15.

Akola: On Monday, no new covid case came to the fore in the district, while a patient under treatment has been completely cured. Right now treatment of 7 corona patients is going on.

Washim: Neither any new coronavirus patient has been found nor has any patient recovered in the last 24 hours.

Buldhana: On Monday, 5 covid patients have been cured in the district. Due to this the number of patients under treatment has come down to 7.

Gondia: Only 33 tests have been done on Monday. All these were negative. So far there are only 3 under-treatment patients in the district, out of which 2 patients are in home isolation.

Bhandara: This district witnessed another 0 days as all 18 tests done in the last 24 hours were covid negative. Now only one patient is being treated in the Bhandara district.

Gadchiroli: Out of 8 covid patients under treatment in the district, one has been cured on Monday. Not a single new covid case has emerged out of 418 tests. Of the total 30,831 cases detected so far in this district, 30,073 have been cured.
