As the lockdown extends in the state, a few other Indian states also joined it making it for another 14 days till 31st of May. However, this lockdown seems to be different in a few days in terms of relaxation in the market. As per the state government’s notice, the market would remain open partially. However, public places like hotels, gyms, restaurants, malls, multiplexes would remain shut down to avoid the gathering of people but these places would remain partially open.

The hotels and restaurants would be delivering the food parcels at home which would bring the Zomato and Swiggy to start its operation in the town. The hotels are going to offer spaces on rent only for people like the Policemen and the health workers who have been active in the city during the COVID 19 outbreak. The food joints and eateries at the railway stations, bus stops, and airports will be partially functional to cater to the crowd availing the transportation to reach their home destinations.

The taxis, cabs, and other similar things are likely to remain closed, while the essential food products and stuff would be available in the state. Ecommerce websites will be delivering nonessential products in the green zone areas while banks, ATMs, and other similar companies would remain functional online. The monsoon related work is carried out in the city while the wine shops are allowed to open who have been permitted with a valid license and other requirements.
