Nagpur Municipal Corporation students registered 99.23% pass percentage; 98.46% of Zilla Parishad

NMC has also organized a special function for the topper students in its office.

Nagpur: Students of schools/junior colleges run by Nagpur Zilla Parishad and Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) have performed very well in the HSC examination. NMC institutes have also cleared the examination with 99.23% of their students, while 98.46% of Zilla Parishad students have also passed.

NMC has also organized a special function for the topper students in its office. Nagpur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Radhakrishnan B also honored the students on Wednesday. He also added, “I congratulate every student who has done their best and made their parents and us proud.”

Yogesh Kumbhejkar, CEO of ZP also said, “Efforts have been made by all the stakeholders. Of course, exam pattern also plays a role. Even at the level of class V and VIII, we are conducting examinations of the students to prepare them thoroughly for the state level scholarship examinations.”

Science stream students also had the highest pass percentage of 100%, while it was 99.22% and 96.93% for arts and commerce respectively. In HSC also, a total of 264 students in these three streams had collectively appeared in the examination, out of which 260 had passed it.

Safoora Iram Murtaza Ansari of the Commerce stream of Azad Urdu Junior College has also secured the first position among all Nagpur Municipal Corporation schools by securing 76.50 percent marks. Sadiya Parveen Samsher Aalam and Husna Anjum Farooq Majid Khan have secured the second and third positions respectively.

Three toppers of the commerce stream

All the three toppers of the commerce stream were also from MAK Azad Urdu Junior College. Commerce teacher Rizwaana Yashum has also said the same thing that she is very proud of the fact that all the toppers of the commerce stream have been from the same college.

Muskan Parveen Mohmmad Rafik also secured the first position in the Arts stream by securing 77.50 percent marks. While Shabnam Parveen Mohammad Shamim stood second with 74.67 percent and Ayesha Parveen Mohd. Nisar stood third with 70.67 percent.

In the Science stream, Naju Rajendra Wasnik has secured the first position with 89.33%. And with this, the second and third positions were secured by Suraj Sudhakar Pawar and Sameer Shailendra Jambulkar with 86 percent and 85.67 percent respectively.
