It’s been a while to see our Nagpur city to remain in the red zone with the increasing number of cases in the country. However, as per the latest update from the Times of India, the city is likely to get away from the red zone soon. As per the latest released list from the state government, Nagpur and Yavatmal in the region are kept out from the red zone list.As per reports, out of 11 districts of Vidarbha region, only Akola and Amravati have been kept in the red zone, while the rest are out from the danger zone.

This came as per the new notification that came from the chief sec of the state Mr. Ajoy Mehta. The city is going to remain in the red zone till 31st May till the fourth lockdown ends as announced by the state government. After 31st May, relaxation is witnessed in the city along with other districts in the region since many things would open up gradually including the offices and the market.

As per the TOI reports, the non essential establishments like salons, spa, government and private offices are likely to be opened in the city with 100 per cent of attendance. Also inter state bus facilities would be continued in the coming month with half of the attendance. Even the wine shops will remain open as they are partially opened in the current dates. The civic body chief Mr. Tukarm Mundhe has asked the city to retain the red zone for the said time.
