NCP leader Supriya Sule says that every party has the right to think about making it its chief minister

Even during a public meeting in Beed, state minister and senior NCP functionary Dhananjay Munde had made this very clear that after the party gets the number one position in the assembly elections, the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra will be from the NCP.

Nagpur: Responding to the same statement of Congress state president Nana Patole that “NCP’s aspiration to become chief minister in future is a daydream”, NCP leader Supriya Sule has also said on Monday that every political party has the right to even think about expanding and becoming its chief minister.

Even during a public meeting in Beed, state minister and senior NCP functionary Dhananjay Munde had made this very clear that after the party gets the number one position in the assembly elections, the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra will be from the NCP.

Reacting to Dhananjay Munde’s statement, Nana Patole had on Sunday similarly said that the NCP’s aspiration to get the chief minister’s post was also a “daydream”.

Supriya Sule has also said that even for the Rajya Sabha elections, ideally, the Bharatiya Janata Party should have come together to find a middle ground.

Attack on Kashmiri Pandits and the threat to their lives

She has also said that MVA leaders have contacted their Bharatiya Janata Party counterparts to see if a middle ground can be found for the elections.

“It is very unfortunate that this could not happen,” she said.

Supriya Sule has also said that the attack on Kashmiri Pandits and the threat to their lives right now is ‘painful’.

“You can even record Parliament, my speech is also there. We had told Home Minister Amit Shah completely about these issues even there. The hatred which was being spread, some films were also being promoted and now you also see that the exodus has started once again. And whenever such things (terrorist attacks) happen then we get information that there will be a meeting in Delhi. But meetings don’t bring a solution at all.” Supriya Sule said.
