With the growing cases of COVID 19 in Nagpur, we also see the cases for recovery of the patients on a faster rate. This has made the city civic body – NMC to think about the containment areas in Nagpur. The NMC is going to come out soon with the norms on sealing in the city. Now, they are planning to reduce the containment areas in the city, claims the latest reports published in The Cityline, Hitavada. Keeping some bare minimum set of precaution measures in place, the NMC is planning to come out with new norms reducing the size of the containment areas.
Earlier the NMC has come out with large size areas as the containment zones so that it can ease the people suffering from the virus. However, with the higher recovery rate in the city, we now see the city breathing easy air for the same and thus the NMC is deciding upon to remove a few restricted areas in the city and reducing the size of the containment zone as well. Only the major hotspots would remain in place like that of Naik Talav and Satranjipura to name a few, while others would see a relaxed state.
All the areas newly included witnessing a decent recovery rate would be considered for reducing the size of the containment zone. Also, the city civic body NMC has even posed the chances of reducing the sealing of the areas in most of the places for obvious reasons. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
