OCLF concludes with a mix of topical insights

To mark this concluding day, more than 50 seminars were organized by eminent panelists. And attendees were given a mix of practical sessions on celebrity culture, women's empowerment, wildlife, history, and spirituality, and the writing of poetry among other topics.

Nagpur: On Sunday, the OCLF (Orange City Literature Fest) 2021 has pulled off curtains as the 3-day long event ended only for literary enthusiasts. Supported by Raisoni Group and a project by SGR Knowledge Foundation, the event was organized at Chitnavis Centre, Civil Lines. In which many sessions were held online due to the epidemic of coronavirus.

To mark this concluding day, more than 50 seminars were organized by eminent panelists. And attendees were given a mix of practical sessions on celebrity culture, women’s empowerment, wildlife, history, and stardom, mental health, mythology, meditation and spirituality, and the writing of poetry among other topics.

While in conversation with Harshali Singh by Writer Minni Vaid, shares her thoughts on the mental health stigma prevalent in the country of India. Minni has said that there is a great need for us to improve our attitude towards all those people who are suffering from mental health issues and there is also a great need to remove the stigma associated with this. In a session titled ‘The Oyster and the Pearl’, author Nandini Murali discusses the tragic circumstances she finds herself in after the loss of suicide, as well as the importance of suicide counseling.

Be brief, be memorable

The founder of Vedic Mathematics Forum, whose name is Gaurav Tekriwal. He addressed the session ‘The Great Indian Mathematicians’, where he recalled about 15 pioneers who put Indian Mathematics on the world map. Minni, Singh, Author Nandita Puri, and Journalist Kaveree Bamzai, interact in a panel discussion, Where she has highlighted the ever-changing landscape of women empowerment in India. Nandita has said that since the independence of India, the participation of women in society has increased a lot.

Actor and brand strategist whose name is Bharat Dabholkar. In his session titled ‘Be Brief, Be Memorable and Change the Game’, he talked about his acting experience and the Amul branding, especially his work with the famous Amul Girl. He has also told that the advertising environment has changed compared to before.

Along with this, the fest has received an overwhelming response as it has seen offline participation of up to 3,000 book lovers in more than 100 sections, and was attended by more than 160 speakers.
