Orange City Literature Festival Going Great Guns in City
The most awaited literature festival called Orange City Literature Festival in the city seems to be making headlines in the local media. It has attracted many intellectuals and authors to the festival. So far, it has attracted a galaxy of stars from all across the country belonging to the literature world to present their views and ideas before the people of the city and its vicinity. The festival is orgnanised by the leading educational institute of city GH Raisoni Group along with SGR Foundation at the most happening place called Chitnavis Center.
So far in two days, more than 48 sessions were conducted discussing various books and authors. Some of the key issues that were discussed in the festival include wildlife, biographies, films, fiction, history and others in India. Some of the key people participating in the program include Nandita Puri the wife of late Om Puri. Senior Sub Editor, Times of India, Barkha Mathur interviewed her. She shared how she contributed in the field of literature and wrote articles and columns in various newspapers and magazines.
She said after getting married to Om Puri, she remained close to Cinema and the world of literature. Talking about her late husband she said he had the power to deliver dialogues with great energy and vigor making his critics praise him. He was a powerful actor and has proved his worth in the world of cinema and other fields. The others who spoke at the event include Air Hostess Nidhi Chaphekar who narrated about being an hostage to the 2016 Brussels Airport Terror Attack. She said she was on duty and has seen human bombers with her own eyes and felt the scare. There were many more similar sessions that enlightened the audience from our city.
