Considering the heavy flow of traffic in the city, the Nagpur Transport Department has planned for special buses in the city to meet the transport requirements within the city. The Special Apli Bus services are carried out in the city to meet the transport requirements of 63rd Dhammachakra Pravartan day in the city. As we know every year we have thousands of people visit the city to celebrate the big day at Deekshabhoomi, this year too has a similar amount of people visiting Nagpur on October 8.

The city has witnessed a number of the stage to ease the grand celebration at Deekshabhoomi which calls upon lakhs of pilgrims inside the city. At this juncture, the City Transport Department has embarked upon more than 100 special buses between 7 to 10 October to meet the requirements of the people visiting Nagpur during the said dates. It will connect Deekshabhoomi from different places in the city. Besides, the special buses will also play from Deekhsabhoomi to Dragon Palace, which is yet another holy place in Kamptee.

The city buses would be plying from Sitabuldi to Nagpur and Deekshabhoomi routes with every two minutes frequency. Also, the Ambazari T point-Deekshabhoomi-Sitabuldi route will be covered with every five minutes. Also, the buses from Nara to Deekshabhoomi would be plying apart from the Kapilanagar to Deekshabhoomi routes seen plying in every 10 minutes. Similarly, the buses would ply from Nagsenvan-Yashodhara Nagar-Sitabuldi to Deekshabhoomi in every 10 minutes. Also, from Ambedkar square to Sitabuldi-Deekshabhoomi you can find buses. The other areas that would be connected include Rameshwar, Rani Durgawati Square, Vaishali Nagar and Garoba ground.
