Squad of DCP Vinita S raids, Violating corona guidelines

Policemen present in the raids have found that. Both the establishments are violating the Covid-19 virus norms in a bad manner. While serving the customers and it has also been found that. Social distance is also not being maintained at all.

In the 1st raid at the Roof 9 restaurant around midnight on 18 September. It has been found that all the customers were being served food there. Not following the coronavirus guidelines. Nor was social distancing being followed properly. Nor was any of the waiters wearing masks.

Cops booked Restaurant Manager

Thereafter, the police booked the restaurant’s manager and all the other employees. Namely Samata Layout, Ambazari Road,Shubham Praful Jaiswal (30), resident of Plot No. 44, Wadi, Premkumar Raibhan Shende (36) of Khadgaon Road. Sayyed Iftekhar Sayyed Mukhtar (39) of Navi Basti, Teka, Pachpaoli, Surendragarh, Gittikhadan, , Shardaprasad Chantamani Pande (46), resident of Gupta Square.

Cases have been registered against all the accused people under sections 270, 188, 269 of IPC, 135 of Maharashtra Police Act and 51 (b) of Disaster Management Act.

Similarly, on the night of Monday, September 20, a special squad raided the Godfather Cafe at Girpith at around 9.30 pm. All the employees and cafe owners were blatantly violating the coronavirus norms and illegally serving hookah to the people.

Police booked all employees, owners and about 10 customers under sections 270, 188, 269 of the IPC, section 51(b) of the Disaster Management Act, section 3 of the Epidemic Diseases Act and sections 4A, 21 of the Other Tobacco Products and Cigarettes Act. Booked under A. Kotpa 2003. While conducting raids, the police officers have seized hookah utensils and many other items worth about Rs 5700.

This raid was conducted by Shatrughna Munde, PSI Kunal Dhurat, Constable Pankaj Ghotkar, Dhananjay Fartade, Vikramsingh Thakur under the all guidance and directions of DCP Zone 2 Vinita Sahu.
