With the current lockdown in the state, the results for the 12th Standard is likely to be affected. All thanks to the COVID 19 outbreak that has caused a lockdown of not less than two months, there seems to be uncertainty on many things. The education sector is affected the most amidst this virus outbreak and is likely to continue in the coming few weeks as well. There seems to be uncertainty over the results for the 10th and class 12th Board exams.

Dr.Shakuntala Kale the state education board chairman was reported saying that the virus outbreak has hampered the work in a big way. The evaluation work is seen pending still and thus the results are likely to be pushed ahead. While talking about the same, she said that the parents and teachers should not pay heed to the rumors and should only look forward to the news coming from the department.

So, the work in standstill, the new dates for the examination is likely to be announced soon. As per reports, the required data to prepare the results are still to reach the board office. The chairman said that it was due to the COVID 19 infection, the schools and colleges were closed early. The education department has asked the teachers to work from home rather than carrying out the evaluation work at the board office. She confirmed that once the evaluation is complete, the date for the result would be declared.
