The video conferencing app called Zoom seems to be back in the news as the Union Home Ministry has talked about the vulnerability of the software. In the Lockdown time, the video conferencing app called Zoom to have been used the most and many of the cases of hacking the same have come to the picture. As per the Computer Emergency Response Team or the (CERT-IN) seemed to have cautioned about cyber vulnerability when it comes to using the app, whose popularity seemed to have soured in India during the COVID 19 lockdown.

The statement issued by the home ministry is called the CERT-IN advisories that came on the date February 6 to March 30. The software was seen becoming a popular app for the executives for carrying out the meetings while working from their homes in the current lockdown that has been announced by the union government to carry out the COVID 19 pandemic over the nation.

The document was seen referring to the earlier advisories of the Cert In along with the Zoom that is not turning out to be a safer platform. The guidelines remain the key issue in securing the people who would be seen acting like the use of the platform for private reasons. It further said that the guidelines are all there to avoid the unauthorized entry in the Zoom conference room due to the vulnerability. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
