prepare plan

This was guardian minister Nitin Raut’s first meeting with the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) officials after the tenure of the corporators ended completely and an administrator was appointed to run the Nagpur Municipal Corporation on March 4.

Guardian minister Nitin Raut has said that there is a very serious water crisis in the city, and it is also likely to increase with a significant increase in temperature in the coming days. Because of this, he has directed the Nagpur Municipal Corporation to prepare an emergency plan to deal with the water crisis and prevent the situation from worsening completely.

When asked whether the Orange City Water Private Limited, a private operator looking after the city’s drinking water supply for the last nearly 10 years and the Bharatiya Janata Party regime in the last nearly 15 years, was responsible for the water crisis, Guardian minister Nitin Raut has said that it is the need of the hour to fully ensure the supply of adequate water to all the citizens. He has said that everyone knows about the performance of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Nagpur Municipal Corporation in the last almost 15 years. Who is ultimately responsible for the deteriorating services, only time will tell.

Prepare the new rehabilitation project thoroughly

Officials of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Orange City Water Private Limited had completely denied any crisis in the city last month.

Guardian minister Nitin Raut had also directed the NMC to develop and hand over 1.2 hectares of land reserved for the Christian community graveyard at the Bhandewadi dumping yard. He directed the officials of Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Collectorate and Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT). It has also directed the people of Bhim Nagar and Juni Jaripatka to get rehabilitated before the houses are demolished by the Indian Railways. He has said that it would not be fair and unjust to demolish the houses before rehabilitation. Because of this, the officials should first talk to the officials of the Indian Railways and then prepare the new rehabilitation project thoroughly. In this very hot summer, no one should empty at all.

Guardian minister Nitin Raut also directed the Nagpur Municipal Corporation to remove the encroachments in and around the Muslim library at Mominpura. He has said that the authorities should also ensure the renewal of Muslim library lease very soon.
