Two farmers killed in truck collision with bullock cart, CBI caught lady RPF cop taking bribe of Rs 60K

Chandrapur: A truck rammed his bullock cart on the Ballarpur-Ashti road near Kalmana village in the early hours of Wednesday, due to which two farmers died at the same time.

Angry villagers blocked the highway due to this accident. The victims Ambadas Dudhkohale (48) and Pundilia Kale (52). Both farmers from Kalmana, were on their way to their fields on a bullock cart. At the same time a truck was carrying a sack of cement. Moving towards Ashti, the victims Ambadas Dudhkohale and Pundilia Kale died at the same time.

A bull has also died due to this accident. After this accident that the truck driver fled with his truck. The villagers reached the same time and blocked the highway demanding compensation to the families of the victims of both the farmers.

Ballarpur police reached the spot at the same time to clear that traffic. Additional SP named Atul Kulkarni to pacify all the farmers. And the SDPO whose name is Raja Pawar. Both reached the spot.

It is also learned that the accused truck driver has been arrested later by the police. And a case has also been registered against him under relevant sections of IPC.

CBI caught lady RPF cop taking bribe

Nagpur: The Anti-Corruption Department of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Nagpur district on Wednesday arrested a Railway Protection Force (RPF) sub-inspector named Gopika Mankar posted inside Warora in Chandrapur district. Gopika has been arrested while taking a bribe of Rs 60,000.

Sources have said that Gopika had demanded around Rs one lakh from the owner of a cafe. In Warora to release all the equipment and gadgets of his office that were confiscated during the raid.

The owner of the cafe was under the scanner for allegedly issuing railway tickets under a fake identity. The Railway Protection Force raided the cafe owner’s shop and also confiscated computers, hard disks and other items.

This operation has been carried out under the supervision of SP, whose name is Salim Khan.
