There should be social media war room in every district of Congress: Patole

Simultaneously, the focus of the camp was to enhance the organization's social media platform capabilities and tackle the rapid spread of fake news.

Nagpur: The two-day social media training camp of the Congress party has come to a complete conclusion on Sunday in which speakers like Alka Lamba addressed the gathering. Well-known spokesperson of Congress party Pawan Khera had also addressed the party members in the Nav Sankalp social media platform camp through virtual mode.

Simultaneously, the focus of the camp was to enhance the organization’s social media platform capabilities and tackle the rapid spread of fake news.

Addressing the participants of the camp, Pawan Khera said that their social media team is well equipped to deal with people who try to create friction between communities.

Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee President Nana Patole has said that to expand the reach of the party, they should have a social media platform War Room in every district.

Cabinet Minister Yashomati Thakur has remarked that social media platforms are not the place for public speeches at all. Rather, it is a place to forget internal differences and unite for a cause.

Camp has witnessed participation from across the country

Lamba has also said that everyone should be fully prepared to go to jail in the “fight for truth”.

Rohan Gupta, President of the National Social Media Unit of Congress has said that Congress is all set to fight the war against hatred and put an end to the fake propaganda put up by the BJP. The warriors of the social media platform from Nagpur have given a call to fight the hate ideology of BJP-RSS.

Vishal Muttemwar, president of the social media platform unit of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee, has said that the camp has witnessed participation from across the country. Vishal Muttemwar has said that he had members coming from all corners of the country and sharing their experiences. He is also grateful to the senior leaders of his party who have provided guidance and much encouragement to the party members.

Youth Congress members from different states also shared their enthusiasm for the same event on social media platforms. SK Muzadpuria tweeted, “The enthusiasm generated among the youth by listening to his (seniors’) speech will work in the upcoming elections.”
