Maharashtra: GMCH 75th anniversary online program

Nagpur: Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Nagpur city, one of the largest medical college campuses in Asia and a reputed health institution, is celebrating its 75th anniversary year program on Saturday.

Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) was established in the year 1947.

A separate official committee has been constituted under the Alumni Association to celebrate the events of this 75th anniversary year well, but this function will be started from Saturday from an online Alumni Association.

The organizing secretary of ‘GMC Nagpur Alumni Online’ named Dr. Murali BK has claimed that he has great support from the official alumni association and its secretary named Dr. Sudhir Neral will coordinate this online program.

Meeting will be broadcast live

We are starting this program with ‘Confluence’, which will be a virtual meeting of alumni from all over India and abroad on Saturday. The meeting will be live streamed on around 10 social media platforms like YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Dr. Murali also said that around 3,000 alumni of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) will attend the event.

Dr Murali BK has also said that a plan has been made to bring together about 50 Deans of different Medical Colleges in India and about 200 eminent doctors from across the world.

The President of IMA Nagpur named Dr Sanjay Deotale and Vice President of Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) named Dr Vinky Raghavani have said that their organizations have fully supported the online program.

The online guest list is very long, with all the doctors associated with the ‘official’ committee saying that they are not aware of this ‘online’ program at all.

Dr Murali has also said that our only aim is to make the 75th anniversary of his alma mater memorable.
