Nagpur: Continuing its strategy to launch a multi-issue attack on the MVA (Maha Vikas Aghadi) government, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday asserted that all women are completely insecure in the current political system.
The former mayor of this city, whose name is Archana Dehankar. She has said that incidents of crime against many women come to the fore across the state and “the situation is getting worse”. Archana has said that be it Parbhani, Dombivili, Beed, or Sakinaka. She has been witnessing many shocking reports of rape and crime against women. And this government has completely failed to bring this situation under control.
Should all these women now take the law into their own hands or should women stay at home forever? said archana.
Archana has also said that when it comes to laws related to women’s safety, then the promises are still incomplete even in the present time. It has also been said that Shakti, a law which was supposed to ensure safety and empower women. And security across Maharashtra, has still not been brought in at all. This was discussed in the winter assembly session of the year 2019 but why is it still completely pending?
Protest against Lakhimpur incident
She has also told that this government had appointed the head of the women’s commission only last month after a vacancy of about 1.5 years. She has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has always been at the forefront in reminding this government of all their duties well. And right now these things work only when we put a lot of emphasis on it.
The archana has also said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, a completely new initiative has been taken for the safety of all women.
People opposing the incident in Lakhimpur are not able to see the activities going on in this state at all. And a minister had to resign after 1 woman committed suicide. And the other is engaged in holding a press conference after the arrest of the celebrity’s son, but there is no one to help all these needy women. Archana said.
As the two years of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government are being completed and with it the elections to the civic body are also getting closer. BJP is intensifying its attack on various issues with the help of various leaders. And the party has also planned to gherao the NIT office on Thursday over the increase in Gunthewadi fee.
