A sad news there for the B Town fans as we see the veteran actor Jagdeep Jaffery passing away. He was 81 due to some age related issues at 8.30 pm at his home. Jagdeep will be laid down at the Shia Kabristan in Mumbai today. He has been the part of many B Town films started working in the late fifties as a child artist, he did a couple of films like Do Bigha Zameen, and Bhabhi to name a few. In the early seventies, he made his debut as an adult and has worked more than 400 movies.
His character of Soorma Bhopali in 1975 in Sholay was among the popular roles he played in B Town films. He has dominated with comedy characters in the seventies, eighties and nineties in more than 400 movies. He was known for his incredible comic diming and the electrifying screen presence. Some of the films for which he was known for his performances include Andaz Apna Apna, Sholay, Brahmachari, and Naagin to name a few. He was born on March 29, 1939 and is reported to survive by his sons Javed Jaffrey and Naved Jaffrey.
The moment the news of the veteran actor came out, many of the Bollywood actors came out on social media to mourn his death. These include Ajay Devgn, Vishal Dadlani, Aftab Shivdasani, Johnny Lever, and others who were seen passing RIP messages to the late actor.
