Woman ends life due to alleged delay in receiving Recurring Deposit amount

A 36-year-old daily wage laborer, who was aggrieved over alleged delay in receiving the matured Recurring Deposit (RD) amount.

Nagpur: A 36-year-old daily wage laborer, who was aggrieved over alleged delay in receiving the matured Recurring Deposit (RD) amount, committed suicide by consuming the poison on October 12. The woman resident of Ramna locality of Narkhed town, has been identified as the Asha Kavdati.

The police have said that the Narkhed resident agent whose name is a Dhananjay Madankar. Through him, the account of Recurring Deposit was opened in the Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Ltd.

Narkhed police constable whose name is Manoj Gadve. He has told that this Recurring Deposit account of Asha had matured in the last year itself.

Woman was very disappointed

Manoj Gadve has said that the deceased was deeply disappointed. Due to the alleged delay in a getting the amount of a Recurring Deposit. Because only a few months ago, the woman was in the debt due to the marriage of her daughter.

To get all this invested amount. This lady had also visited the branch office of a Cooperative Bank located in Katol city. But the woman Asha Kavdati did not get success at all.

On the date of 12 October, the woman once again went to the agent Dhananjay Madankar house. Whoever had completely failed to give a satisfactory answer.

After the agent returned from Dhananjay Madankar house. The disappointed woman allegedly consumed poison and Asha fainted. Soon the woman’s younger son named Ajay. He took them to a government hospital in Narkhed. From where the woman was referred to the Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital. However, that woman has died on the date of a 13 October. Police said.

Narkhed police have registered this case of accidental death and now Narkhed police is investigating further.
