Nagpur: As part of a special operation to check crime in the city, police officials on Tuesday arrested 31 goons during the night and recovered weapons from their possession. Shanti Nagar police have arrested 3 goons including 1 outsider.
Senior PI named Prabhavati Ekurke. He has said that during night time patrolling, police officers saw Nikhil alias Monty Mukesh Mallik (22, resident of Sweeper Colony) moving suspiciously. Nikhil was soon caught by the police. And then a knife was found from Nikhil. And then later it was found that he was expelled from the city for 1 year in the month of February in the same year.
Another patrol team nabbed Narendra alias Bali Chintaman Bokde (19, resident of Kundanlal Gupta Nagar). And then a sword was recovered from Narendra. The police of Shanti Nagar have caught 19-year-old Pranjal Yadav from Durg while roaming in Shanti Nagar locality with a sharp weapon. The police have arrested the three criminals under relevant sections of the IPC as well as under the Arms Act.
Similarly, the police of Ambazari has arrested 5 criminals with weapons. Dhantoli (One), Sadar (One), Tehsil (3), Wadi (One), Sitabuldi (2), Pachpaoli (2), Jaripatka, Pardi, Imamwada, Ajni, Yashodhara Nagar, and Old Kamptee 1-1 Arms, New Kamptee and Kalamana (2 each).

Nagpur: City Nagpur Police has registered a case against 2 people along with 1 stepfather for allegedly molesting 2 teenage girls in separate incidents.
In the first case, the city police have said that a 19-year-old girl pursuing a beautician course in North Nagpur was sexually assaulted by her trainer’s husband from September 1 to October 2.
Police say that after class, accused Amit Wagh used to drop the 19-year-old girl every night at home. He was allegedly molesting a 19-year-old girl several times.
Following the complaint of the 19-year-old girl, Yashodhara Nagar police have registered a case against Wagh under relevant sections of the IPC.
In another incident, the Gittikhadan police have registered a case against the stepfather for molesting his 14-year-old daughter on Tuesday. Further investigation is being done by the police.
