4-year-old kidnapped, sniffer dog indicates ‘something’ nearby

Nagpur: Around four-year-old Arnab Somkuwar alias Bobby was allegedly abducted from the city’s neighboring New Koradi on Saturday. The boy has been missing for more than 24 hours as police officers grope in the dark.

Teams of police officers have reached in different directions, But the question revolved only around the sign of the dog which was discovered near the house.
Arnab Somkuwar also has a younger sister, He was playing in front of his own house for the last time. When Arnab Somkuwar did not come home, his parents started looking for him. The concerned parents, who are from financially weak background, have alerted the police control room, Since then the police has swung into action.
Sources have also told that the boy has been caught in two CCTV cameras, But he was alone. The police officer is also searching for him from the nearby canal.
Police Secretly Investigating
According to ACP Santosh Khandekar, about 100 policemen have been pressed into action immediately after the alert. The senior police officer has said that they are following all indications to trace the boy. In order to prevent any untoward incident, water bodies, lakes, drains, and many such nearby places have also been checked and more places are also being searched. Nearby areas like Khaperkheda are also being investigated.
Different groups on social media platforms are being alerted about the missing boy with his own picture, ACP Santosh said.
Chinmay Pandit, DCP Crime, has said that unit number five and anti-human trafficking units have been assigned the task of joining the search.
All police stations have been alerted and searches are on, Zonal DCP Manish Kalwaniya said.
Sources have also said that the police is also secretly investigating in and around the boy’s house to find out whether there has been any disturbance in the family or in the neighborhood.
