90 new cases are being reported in day in Nagpur
Out of 90 cases of covid in district Nagpur, 81 have come from Nagpur city alone. These include some people with no travel history of any kind and some who are fully vaccinated.
Nagpur: With 90 new covid cases being reported in a day in Nagpur district, 11 districts of the Vidarbha region together have detected 115 new covid cases on the last day of the year 2021. A sudden spike can also be considered a sure sign of the start of a new wave, Which is most mainly triggered by the Omicron virus variant. For the first time since the date of July 14, more than 100 cases have been found in the Vidarbha region. The death of a 50-year-old man from Deulgaon Raja in district Buldhana is reported, Who was admitted to the Women’s Hospital in Buldhana district.

The daily testing figures in Vidarbha crossed 11,000 for the third day in a row. With around 115 of them turning positive, the test positivity rate (TPR) has touched 1% on Friday. This has also happened for the first time after the month of July. For 3 consecutive days, more than 1% test positivity rate had kept the ‘Yellow Level’ under control in New Delhi. On the same lines, 11 districts of the Vidarbha region have also announced strict restrictions like the limit of 50 member-guest lists for weddings and 20 members for funerals.
Chandrapur: Due to the identification of two people on Friday, the active figure of coronavirus has reached nine. There was absolutely no report of any recovery or casualties during the day. Coronavirus caseload has reached 88,888, In which 1,543 deaths, 87,336, have been cured.
Amravati: Eleven new cases in this district have taken the caseload to 96,246 on Friday. 3 were cured, which has become 94,612 in total. With no death reported in this district, the number of active cases under treatment has increased to 34. A total of 978 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours.
Yavatmal: Although there were no reports of death in this district, But two positive patients have been reported during the last 24 hours, Due to which the toll has remained unchanged at 1,788.
Wardha: Out of 509 tests in this district, two more have tested positive for covid, taking the caseload to 49,446 on Friday.
Akola: This is the only district in the 11 districts of the Vidarbha region where no new case has been reported on Friday. A total of 553 tests have been done in this district. Now 10 patients are being treated.
Washim: On Friday, 2 new covid patients have been found. The total caseload stands at 41,781, including 41,138 recoveries and 639 deaths. Now 3 patients are going on.
Buldhana: This district has reported its first coronavirus death since the month of October. The toll has reached 676. A total of 325 tests have been conducted in district Buldhana. Only 2 of them were coronavirus positive.
Bhandara: In this district, out of 283 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, 1 new case of coronavirus has been found. At present, the number of corona patients under treatment in this district is only 2.
Gondia: Out of a total of 204 tests in the district, 1 new patient of covid has been found. At present, the number of patients treated in this district has reached 13. Of these, 8 are kept in home isolation.
Gadchiroli: Out of 1,217 tests conducted in the last 24 hours in this district, only 2 were positive. One patient of covid has been cured in a day in the district. Presently 9 patients are undergoing treatment.
