More than 50 coronavirus cases in Vidarbha for second time in week

Nagpur: In the last 24 hours 52 new cases of coronavirus have been found in 11 districts of the Vidarbha region. Apart from Nagpur district which has been responsible for most of the Covid cases, District Amravati has registered 13 new covid cases, While Gondia has reported 4.

New cases of covid have also been found in Gadchiroli, Chandrapur, Buldhana, and Akola, indicating that the infection has been reported from all parts of the Vidarbha region including rural and tribal areas.

These districts have significantly increased the number of tests. For the second consecutive day before Thursday, more than 11,000 tests have been done in 24 hours. The test positivity rate (TPR) was close to 0.5%.

The number of patients under treatment in this area is about 286, Which is close to 300 for the first time since the end of the month of August. Of them, 199 are from Nagpur – 15 from Nagpur Rural, 168 from Gapur city, and 16 from other districts/divisions or neighboring states.

District Nagpur has registered 28 new cases of covid, In which 26 cases are from Nagpur city and 2 cases from other states/districts. Four covid patients including three from Nagpur city have been cured.

Chandrapur: 2 tests against a single recovery on Thursday have taken the active figure of coronavirus on Thursday to 7. New cases of covid have been detected in Chandrapur city and Rajura city. There was no report of any casualty even during the day. Coronavirus caseload has reached 88,886, While the total recovery amount is up to 87,336. The district’s toll is 1,543.

Amravati: 13 new cases of covid have come out in 1,282 samples tested in this district in the last 24 hours, Which has taken the caseload to 96,235 on Thursday. No one has died.

Yavatmal: Neither death nor any new positive report has been reported in this district in the last 24 hours, keeping the toll unchanged at 1,788. At present 6 active covid positive patients are under treatment. The administration has received 645 investigation reports in the district. Out of 72,979 covid positive patients, 71,185 have been cured including day 2 of Thursday.

Wardha: No new covid case has come to light from 402 investigation reports in the district. Whereas on Thursday, a patient has been discharged after recovering.

Gondia: Out of 215 out of the last 24 hours, only 4 tests have come positive in the district. In the last 3 days the number of covid patients under treatment has increased and has increased to 12, Out of which only 10 reports have come.

Bhandara: No new covid case has been found in this district even after conducting 308 tests in the last 24 hours. There was no recovery in the district. Only 1 covid patient is undergoing treatment.

Gadchiroli: A new covid patient has been detected in this district in 574 tests conducted in the last 24 hours. No recovery was reported in the district. The number of patients treated in the district has reached 8.

Akola: Two new covid patients have been found in 500 tests conducted in the last 24 hours in the district. While 1 patient has been cured.

Buldhana: A total of 574 tests have been done in district Buldhana in the last 24 hours. Two of them have tested positive in the district.

Washim: No new covid case has been reported in this district in the last 24 hours. For the last three days, only one patient is being treated in the district.
