Nationalist Congress Party or Maharashtra Navnirman Sena will be third engine for Shinde: Ambedkar

Praising Shiv Sena (Shinde) and BJP's double engine for development, Eknath Shinde recently also said that he is going to add another engine soon.

Amaravati: Very soon Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will show through his actions whether Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) or Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) will become the third engine of the government. Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) leader Prakash Ambedkar has also taken a jibe on Sunday.

Nationalist Congress Party

Praising Shiv Sena (Shinde) and BJP’s double engine for development, Eknath Shinde recently also said that he is going to add another engine very soon. And at the same time, Prakash Ambedkar was giving a lot of feedback on this while talking to the journalists.

Prakash Ambedkar has also said that talks are on for an alliance with the Shiv Sena’s Thackeray faction and a formal announcement will be made even after things are finalized.

He has also said that if he wants, then he is going to welcome Congress and NCP into the alliance. Thackeray group also says that a collective announcement will be made, but then I will not go to Congress and NCP for talks. Interact with VBA if they want. However, Congress President Nana Patole has spoken of moving forward on his own, Prakash Ambedkar said.

Accusing the government of keeping the issue of NET and SET pending

Making it abundantly clear that the VBA has by no means rejected the Congress and the NCP, Ambedkar said, “We were not opposed to the Congress and the NCP, but our talks with the Congress for an alliance failed ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. We had asked for some of the 12 seats that the Congress had been losing for five consecutive terms. Unfortunately, it didn’t address that matter. It is clear from this that Congress-NCP had rejected us then.”

Talking about the Legislative Council elections also, Ambedkar has said that it is an election of issues. “The old pension scheme is not dependent on the budget. When privatization started around 1990, the government was trying to get away from it by shifting the responsibility of pensions to insurance companies. But if we return to power, we will implement the old pension scheme properly,” they said.

Accusing the government of keeping the issue of NET and SET pending, Ambedkar said that the government should take concrete steps in this regard, even if the issue is sub-judice.
