Administration’s strictness, zero cases of copying came to light in Nagpur
Across the district, a multi-layered security protocol, starting from the examination centre, up to the block level, up to the taluka level, and finally at the district level, has been strictly enforced on the first day of the HSC board exams on Tuesday.
Nagpur: Not a single case of copying was found in the entire Nagpur district. Because the administration has taken very strict and very aggressive monitoring of the centers through both static and flying squads.
Across the district, a multi-layered security protocol, starting from the examination centre, up to the block level, up to the taluka level, and finally at the district level, has been strictly enforced on the first day of the HSC board exams on Tuesday.
District Collector Dr Vipin Itankar said, He said, “Copying in board exams is not tolerated at all. I have even told my officials that our examination should be conducted in a completely free and fair manner, even if it means that the pass percentage of the entire district may go down.”
Each examination center also has ‘Static Squad’ members, which are more than regular invigilators. After this, flying squads also come, whose jurisdiction is also determined.
Over the past few years, anti-copying campaigns have also gained traction and are showing results. But in the year 2023, the state government seems to have pushed the pedal to the floor. On Tuesday, from the flying squad to the war room, the entire examination machinery was on active mode.
Every center is strictly monitored and this time students
Dr. Vipin Itankar said, “The aggressive supervision will continue as our staff is highly motivated. We all want our students to appear in exams and introspect. You can cheat others but not yourself. It is better to fail or score less than to cheat. At least the students will recognize their weakness and try to overcome it.”
Saumya Sharma, CEO of Nagpur Zilla Parishad has also visited many examination centers along with the flying squad. “Wherever we went, I saw that the examination process was going on smoothly and no untoward incident was reported. We will continue our efforts to provide proper environment to the examinees.” Saumya Sharma said.
Chintaman Vanjari, Divisional President of the State Board of Education, also said on this, “Every center is strictly monitored and this time students also know that there is no scope for using unfair means.”
