Maha Metro to Render e -Vehicle Charging Stations
With Nagpur being roped in as an emerging smart city of the country, we see one thing or the other being roped in for the city. Maha Metro has now announced a big news for the electric charging stations for the e-cars and vehicles in the city. This will offer manifold benefits to the administration – raise the revenue and offers the services to the Nagpur citizens. As per reports, the City has witnessed an agreement between Maha Metro with the Energy Efficiency Services Ltd company.
Thus with this, a joint venture of the Maha Government has embarked under the Ministry of Energy, Government of India. It will promote the environment-friendly lifestyle in the city working on the green theme idea. The reports suggest that there are 965 solar panels installed in the Metro stations within the Maha Metri Nagpur Project. Using these collectors, the Maha Metro is going to leverage this venture to receive 65 percent of energy. This step is regarded as a significant one for environmental preservation.
Last week, an agreement was signed between Maha Metro and the Energy Efficiency Services limited in the presence of Aanand Kumar the Maha Metro executive Director (Planning Department ) and Kishor Chavan Regional Head – Energy efficiency services limited (East Maharashtra). The others who were present include Sunil Mathur Director Projects, Mahesh Kumar Director Finance, Himanshu Ghatuwari Chief Project Manager – Solar stations and many more.
