A fun sneak peak into Aamna Munjal’s life
1. When did you decided that you want to become an actor?
The first time I performed in front of the camera at the age of 16, I fell in love with this beautiful craft. That day I decided that I want to plunge into the world of cinema and make a difference through the medium of creativity.
2. Describe your last experience on stage.
Recently I performed a 40min solo act based on the real-life story of the Iron Lady Muniba Mazari. It was a beautiful experience and I was overwhelmed by the response of the audience. Being on stage or in front of the camera makes me the happiest, I just go into a different zone and that feeling is simply beyond words. I’m blessed to be a part of such a pious profession of being an actor.
3. How is off-screen life different from on-screen life?
I think as an actor it’s our job to live so many lives in one but offscreen we are just passionate about films and we are in love with our craft.
4. If someone is going to make your life into a movie, who would play you?
I think I would play ‘me’. Who else will know my life better?
5. If you want to act in a biopic who it would be?
Growing up being a sportsperson I would definitely love to do a sports biopic because I feel it would be an amazing experience. I have enjoyed films like Ms. Dhoni the untold story, Saina Nehwal biopic, dental, etc and I would love to be a part of such films.
6. If not an actor what would you pursue as a career?
I can’t imagine myself in any other profession so I would say ACTOR ACTOR AND ONLY AN ACTOR.
7. Secret to a happy life according to you?
I think just follow your passion, be humble, be in gratitude and enjoy life to the fullest. I think we should not look for happiness outside because everything is within us. The best way to be happy is never to let your mind rule you because the mind is a beautiful servant but a dangerous master.
8. One Bollywood film you wish you were a part of?
My 2 all time fav movies are yeh jawaani hain deewani and zindagi na milegi dobara. I would love to be a part of their sequels for sure.
9. What’s your aim as an actor?
I think as an actor I want to touch other’s lives through the medium of creativity and try to entertain them and spread positivity all around me. I want to be known as a humble and grounded actor who is hardworking and who respects her work and the audience who loves her. I want to always maintain an ideal balance between mainstream and offbeat cinema and try to cater to all kinds of audiences. My inspiration in Bollywood is Alia Bhatt because I feel she is a bundle of talent and I admire her work and I have learned a lot from her.
