After a delay of 2 months, Nagpur University declares exam timetable
According to the notification released by the examination section of NU, the examinations will begin on December 26, which has been delayed by almost two months.
Nagpur: After keeping lakhs of students in suspense for more than two months, the Nagpur University administration has finally declared the winter examination (theory) schedule. All these exams will be conducted in the regular pen-and-paper format and not in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), which were introduced during the COVID pandemic.
According to the notification released by the examination section of NU, the examinations will begin on December 26, which has been delayed by almost two months. And after this, there will be a huge delay in the results and the situation will be the same as during the Covid pandemic.
The notification directs principals, heads of directors, and department, students have been informed to fill out the online examination forms for fifth, seventh, and ninth-semester undergraduate and postgraduate courses on the examination portal of NU by December 5. Colleges will have to submit the receipt of the form along with the examination fee to NU before the date of December 8.
NU administration had already asked the affiliated colleges
The process of online submission of examination forms for students (regular and failed) of the 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th semesters for undergraduate and postgraduate students of the college will start from the date of December 5. And this process will continue till 10 December. The last date for submission of form receipt along with fees for colleges is December 12. The university will also provide admit cards to colleges from December 20 to December 23.
Also, after the withdrawal of MKCL, the link for submission of the online examination form is being operated by Promark.
The NU administration had also already asked the affiliated colleges to conduct the first and third-semester papers for non-professional courses at their own level. Even the practical examinations of these semesters will be conducted at the college level and in offline mode between the dates of 5th to 31st December.
The marks of theory and practical examination will have to be submitted online on the University portal within about 10 days of the opening of the link.
