Arms show a huge hit at Axis’23
Nagpur: The second day of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology’s (VNIT) annual technical fest Axis’23, organized in association with The Times of India, witnessed a display of defense equipment by the Indian Army and Navy on Saturday.
The forces also displayed the latest advancements in their weapons and equipment, leaving the participants and visitors in awe. And the exhibition has provided an opportunity to the students to witness some of the most sophisticated and state-of-the-art technologies used by the Armed Forces.
Apart from military exhibitions, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology has also hosted simultaneous events, Such as Robocup, Mechatryst, Robowars, Aquahunt, AI Hackathon and many more. These events also allow students to test their engineering and technical skills and compete for the top spot.

The day also ended with a comic show by well-known comedian Pratyush Choubey, who has made the audience laugh a lot with his wit and humor. The event brought a befitting end to a day full of learning, entertainment, and excitement.
The Indian Army presented guns, models of aircraft, and much other equipment that is otherwise not at all bound for civilians. Activities for the day included Aqua Skylark, where students also built rockets with water pressure, ‘Crepido’, which involved building a bridge, and ‘Autobot’, an automobile robot. And quiz competition and debate competition have also been held during the day.
The highlight of the day was the ‘Robowars’ where automobile robots built by students went up against each other in a cage. there were food stalls where the students had food after the whole day.
