Former councilors kept disobeying the orders of NMC, use old posts
Nitish Gwalbanshi, Former Congress councilor, submitted his own resignation from the party to city president Vikas Thakre on Sunday.
Nagpur: Former councilors of all these political parties have continued to use their own previous designations of NMC despite warnings from the civic body. However, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation has also remained a mute spectator.
Nitish Gwalbanshi, Former Congress councilor, submitted his own resignation from the party to city president Vikas Thakre on Sunday. In this resignation letter, Nitish has used his letterhead of the corporator which also includes the name and logo of Nagpur Municipal Corporation. Nitish has also said that he did not reveal his identity as a corporator at all. He has used the former word.
On my WhatsApp status, almost a day after the Nagpur Municipal Corporation warning, Former BJP councilor Sunil Hiranwar has exposed himself as corporator and Avinash Thakre as the leader of the ruling party in Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
In the message, Sunil has said that according to Avinash Thackeray, the leader of the ruling party in Nagpur Municipal Corporation The presence of all the corporators is absolutely mandatory in the inauguration program of the camps organized on the date of 22nd March to check the senior citizens and disabled persons.
On the front page of the social media platform Facebook, Sunil continues to describe himself as a counselor and chairman of Nagpur Municipal Corporation Dharampeth Zone even today.
Past nomenclature to wish citizens on Holi
Ex-Congress corporator Kamlesh Chaudhary, Former Shiv Sena corporator Kishor Kumeriya, former mayor Nanda Jichkar, former NCP corporator Duneshwar Pethe, and a few others have continued to completely expose themselves as corporators on the front page of their Facebook accounts.
Most of the corporators and office bearers, including former mayor Dayashankar Tiwari and former BSP corporator Sanjay Burrewar have exposed themselves with the past nomenclature to wish citizens on Holi, which is celebrated on the date of March 18.
The Nagpur Municipal Corporation had also warned that action would be taken if former councilors and office-bearers continue to use old names on letter heads, posters, invitation letters, greetings etc. The civic body has even said that Action will be taken against those organizations or individuals who expose former office bearers and corporators with previous nomenclature.
Nagpur Municipal Corporation officials have said that they will look into it, seek clarification and file an FIR with the police if similar violations continue. He cannot use his previous nomenclature, the name, and symbol of Nagpur Municipal Corporation from the date of 5th March at all.
The state government had also appointed city commissioner Radhakrishnan B as administrator to run the Nagpur Municipal Corporation from the date of March 5.
