Nagpur: A record 1,567 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the Vidarbha region in the last 24 hours. For the first time since the date of June 3, 2021, the number of new covid cases in a day has crossed the 1,500 mark.

The first death was reported in Nagpur in the district after the date of August 12. Due to this, the toll of coronavirus in the Vidarbha region has gone up to 21,392. At present, more than 8,000 patients are being treated in this area, but most of them are in home isolation.
The number of daily tests in Nagpur has crossed the 11,000 mark on Tuesday, But the number of covid cases has come down slightly to 799. Despite the high number of tests, the low number of cases can be considered as a positive indicator for the district.
Yavatmal: No death has been reported in this district on Tuesday. The death toll is 1,788. At present, 271 patients of covid are under treatment. The administration has received reports of 1,291 tests in the district. Out of which 34 have been found covid positive. So far, 71,225 out of 73,284 patients have been cured including 11 on Tuesday. The daily positivity rate is 2.63%, the test positivity rate is 9.21%, and the mortality rate is 2.44%. There are 1,710 beds available for coronavirus patients in the district.
Wardha: Out of 680 investigation reports on Tuesday, 93 new cases of covid have been reported, While 16 patients have been cured, The caseload of the district has increased to 49,783 and the number of people who have recovered is 48,139. Due to which 304 patients are undergoing treatment.
Amravati: Out of 1,186 samples tested in the last 24 hours in the district, only 91 were positive, The caseload has been taken up to 96,814 on Tuesday. With twenty-nine recoveries, a total of 94,717 have been done.
Chandrapur: Overall in this district, the total number of active patients on Tuesday has gone up to 507 after 98 new detections of covid and 25 recoveries. The coronavirus caseload has gone up to 89,442, including 1,545 deaths and 87,370 recoveries.
Akola: Out of 1,321 tests conducted in the last 24 hours in this district, 199 new cases have come out on Tuesday. 25 covid patients have been cured.
Buldhana: In this district, 52 positives have been found in 875 tests conducted in the last 24 hours. This has taken the caseload to 87,911.
Washim: 23 new cases of covid have been reported in this district and one patient has been cured. At present, 101 patients of covid are undergoing treatment.
Gondia: Out of 726 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, 36 new cases of covid have come out. 15 patients of covid have been cured.
Bhandara: 1,496 tests were conducted In the last 24 hours and 68 covid positives. Six patients have recovered completely in a day in the district. At present, 254 patients are being treated in Bhandara.
Gadchiroli: 1,249 tests have been done in this district and out of them 74 positives have been found. The number of people who were cured in the district on Tuesday was 23. At present, 217 patients of covid are undergoing treatment in this district.
