MVA responsible for exit from Tata-Airbus: Nagpur BJP
BJP's district (Nagpur Rural) president Arvind Gajbhiye has also said that "the previous Maha Vikas Aghadi government led by Uddhav Thackeray has completely failed to do due diligence for the project."
Nagpur: The Nagpur unit of the BJP is blaming the previous MVA government for shifting the Tata-Airbus project to Gujarat, saying it could have been a huge boost for Mihan.
BJP’s district (Nagpur Rural) president Arvind Gajbhiye has also said that “the previous Maha Vikas Aghadi government led by Uddhav Thackeray has completely failed to do due diligence for the project. Along with this, whatever BJP had tried to do for the economic development of the state, they have undone everything.

He has also said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s concept of Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan, this project was started. “The contract between Airbus and Space SA Spain had also been approved by the government. Along with this, a Memorandum of Understanding was also signed and Ratan Tata also announced on the same day that the Ministry of Defense has given a green signal to the same project. Which is also being jointly built according to the agreement between Airbus and Tata. Despite this, the then Maha Vikas Aghadi government has neither sent any letter nor taken any follow-up action to bring the same project to Maharashtra.” Arvind Gajbhiye said.
As opposition parties in Maharashtra protested against the ‘Gujarat departure’ of the project, Arvind Gajbhiye also said that it was all part of political gimmicks. “These leaders should not at all indulge in deceptive politics just after becoming aware of the facts. If Uddhav Thackeray wants to talk about issues, then he should also publish a letter written to Tata-Airbus. With the coming of the same project in Mihan also, thousands of local youth could get employment, Arvind Gajbhiye said and added, “In fact, this is the second failure of the MVA government even after the Vedanta-Foxconn project.”
