Nagpur: Zero Cases in Couple of Districts in Last Few Days Have Resulted in Significant Fall in Daily Testing
On Tuesday, Nagpur district registered 18 cases after 11 first-year MBBS students tested positive. On Wednesday, 2 covid cases have been seen from rural, city and outer district.
Nagpur: There has been a significant drop in daily testing as a result of zero Covid cases in several districts in the past few days. And after testing of 7,454 covid, the number of covid cases has come down to 29, while 54 patients have been completely cured in Vidarbha on Wednesday.
Buldhana again saw double-digit Covid-19 cases at 22, and while Nagpur city has tested positive, out of over 3,000 tests, only 6 tested positive.
Nagpur Covid-19 Update
On Tuesday, Nagpur district registered 18 cases after 11 first-year MBBS students tested positive. On Wednesday, 2 covid cases have been seen from rural, city and outer district.
Gondia, Bhandara, Wardha and Yavatmal have not reported any new cases. There has been no recovery and no death in Wardha and Bhandara, although about one, two covid patients respectively are still undergoing treatment.
After Nagpur city, Buldhana has conducted the highest number of tests at around 971. And only Gondia and Bhandara have tested in double digits at 98 and 28 respectively, the rest of the districts have tested in triple digits.
Now, 265 covid patients are still being treated inside this area, including 66 in Nagpur city and 62 in Buldhana.
Yavatmal: After conducting 473 tests on Wednesday in the district, neither any death nor any new case of covid-19 has been found, the toll was 1,787 and the caseload was 72,864. Only one patient has been cured on Wednesday. Still 9 patients are undergoing treatment.
Wardha: No new patient has been found in the district after 250 tests. Neither any patient has recovered and no one has died. Two patients are still undergoing treatment.
Amravati: There have been 3 covid positive cases. With no deaths reported, the toll now stands at 1,563. There have been 8 recoveries in the day. And there were 23 active cases.
Akola: 4 patients were found in the district and two have been cured. And now there are 17 active cases lying.
Gondia: Not a single Covid case or death has been reported from the district, but 2 recoveries have been registered so far. The number of patients undergoing treatment is 7.
