Nitin approves Rs 2,249 crore for Maharashtra highways
According to Nitin Gadkari, Rehabilitation of Injegaon-Sonpeth Pathri-Selu-Degaon road from NH-548-B to Pathri to Selu section (6.09 km) and Selu to Deogaon section (5.06 km) in Wardha district about Rs 145.76 crore has been approved for further degradation.
Nagpur: Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister, on Saturday approved works worth about Rs 2,249 crore for the expansion and construction of national highways in various districts of Maharashtra. Along with this, the city MP has also given information about some projects approved for the state by tweeting on Twitter.
According to Nitin Gadkari, Rehabilitation of Injegaon-Sonpeth Pathri-Selu-Degaon road from NH-548-B to Pathri to Selu section (6.09 km) and Selu to Deogaon section (5.06 km) in Wardha district about Rs 145.76 crore has been approved for further degradation.
It has also said that rehabilitation and upgradation of four-lane highway in Kurkheda town, two-lane road and construction of Bhuti Nala in Shankarpur-Grunuli mandal and construction of a huge bridge over Sati river will be done. Approval of about Rs 163.86 crore has also been received for the construction of NH-543 Bramhapuri-Vadsa-Kurkhecha-Korchi-Deori Amgaon Road and Lendhar Bridge.
Sanctioned for rehabilitation and upgradation
The city MP has also said that about Rs 350.75 crore has been sanctioned for the upgradation and rehabilitation of about 37.36 km of Chikhali-Dabhri-Talegaon road of NH-752H. In addition, about Rs 206.54 crore has been sanctioned for Nanded-Bhokar-Hidayatnagar-Kinwat and Mahur-Arani roads for upgradation and rehabilitation of Mudkhed to Nanded section of NH-161A.
Another approx Rs 316.44 crore from Dhawali to Gadchiroli road of NH-930, Dhavali to Rajoli, Pandhashala to Mohdongri, About 28 km from Ambashiwani Phata to Bodli and Med Tukum to Gadchiroli have been allotted for rehabilitation and upgradation of existing four lane highways.
The minister also said that Rs 778.18 crore had been sanctioned for rehabilitation and upgradation of about 33.65 km of the four-lane road at Undewadi of NH-160 in Pune from Deshmukh Chowk and Dhavan Patil Chowk (Baramati) to Phaltan. About Rs, 291.7 crore has been allocated for rehabilitation and up-gradation in two and four lanes of about 26.07 km road from Bhokardan to Kumbhari Phata and Rajur to Jalna section on NH-753H.
