On World Thyroid Day, Nagpur gets advanced thyrocare lab
Thyrocare launched its first Regional Processing Lab (RPL) in Nagpur, Which is its 17th such lab in India. Regional Processing Lab will serve Nagpur and adjoining areas in the Vidarbha region.
Nagpur: Thyroid disease has become very common these days. Even for the diagnosis of thyroid, advanced laboratory tests to measure thyroid function are greatly needed. This same World Thyroid Day (on 25th May), Nagpur received a brand new lab from Thyrocare Technologies Limited, India’s first advanced fully automated lab chain.
Thyrocare launched its first Regional Processing Lab (RPL) in Nagpur, Which is its 17th such lab in India. Regional Processing Lab will serve Nagpur and adjoining areas in the Vidarbha region. The lab was formally inaugurated at Mytri Willows, Sir Bezonji Mehta Road, Maitri Willow, near Empress Mall.
The laboratory will also have a 24×7 unidirectional sample processing system and an automated wastewater treatment plant for the absolutely safe disposal of biomedical waste. Which will bring only best-in-class processing for a wide variety of tests.
Director and Consulting Cardio Diabetologist Dr. Ajay V Kaduskar has also inaugurated the laboratory. Sachin Salvi, CFO of Thyrocare Technologies Limited was present on the same occasion.
Centralized processing laboratory in Navi Mumbai
CFO Sachin Salvi has said that the launch of the same Regional Processing Lab in Nagpur will speed up the laboratories and hospitals across the country at cost-effective prices. And this marks yet another milestone in their endeavor to deliver global quality standards in diagnostic testing with accuracy. He has also said that the all-new laboratory will provide absolutely comprehensive diagnostic services to patients, doctors, and hospitals in Nagpur and Vidarbha region.
Thyrocare also has its own centralized processing laboratory in Navi Mumbai for complex tests. In addition, it also has three regional processing laboratories in Delhi, Bangalore, and Kolkata for advanced tests. And the Nagpur laboratory will be the only one among the 17 regional laboratories and the others will be able to conduct very routine tests.
The brand new Regional Processing Lab in Nagpur is also equipped with automated technologies to handle and process a variety of tests and it has the capacity to process only about 3,000 samples a day.
