Only 81 people in age group of 12-14 in Nagpur take Covid vaccine

Nagpur: Thursday, the first day of the much-awaited vaccination for the 12 to 14 age group, has turned out to be of little importance across the city. As far as the Vidarbha region is concerned, some districts have not yet started covid vaccination of young children at all.
In downtown Nagpur, only 81 children have had the Corbevax shot, While the health officials had made all the arrangements. In the remaining part of district Nagpur, only 107 children including about 100 children of Sauner have won. The health workers have made the children unnecessarily wait for the whole day in most of the centers.
Parents of some children have complained that there was absolutely no proper publicity for the vaccination of this section. Many parents have said that they have decided to wait because they want to see the initial reaction to Corbavax, Which is a new vaccine that has been introduced most specifically for this age group.
Children are vaccinated soon
Earlier, when the elected body of Nagpur Municipal Corporation was not dissolved at all, Then the corporator and the mayor used to organize a grand public ceremony at many vaccination centers, In which a good crowd was seen. Since Nagpur Municipal Corporation is currently run by administrators only, Because of this public function was a big mistake.
Parent Alka Chauhan has said that coronavirus vaccination is not a rare or exciting thing at all.
Parents are also waiting for the vaccine to be given in all the schools. Shekhar Hardas has also said that he is very sure that Nagpur Municipal Corporation will deliver the vaccine through schools very soon. This would be a reasonable and convenient one. Because of this, they will also wait for many more days and will get the covid vaccine only in schools.
The most interesting thing is that except for AIIMS, no government hospital has a center to apply this vaccine. Along with this, only six children have received covid vaccines in AIIMS. Dr Pradeep Deshmukh, Head, Department of Community Medicine, AIIMS, Nagpur has said that immunization of children is very important and it will start very soon. Parents of all children must make sure that their children are vaccinated very soon.
