Vrajesh Unadkat is also influencing the youth as a Social Philanthropist and helping the rural sector with educational aids.
Vrajesh Unadkat is now a known name in Surat native to Athwalines. For the past five years, he along with his wife mrs. Priyanka Unadkat have been leading an innovative campaign in his area of collecting unused papers, old newspapers and other wastes in his residentials areas. He has been using the same to sell them in the scrap market to raise funds for the poor and needy students. So far it has gained tons and tons of raddi approaching not less than 2800 residential areas.
While celebrating his victory recently, Municipal Councilor requested all his friends and family members to give him the newspaper and other unused papers only. Hence the local bodies like Bharthana Yuvak Mandal and its members brought 300 kgs of raddi for him as a gift, which he will be using with this group to raise funds for the poor students located in nearby areas of his ward.
Restricting his social work among the poor students, he always believed that education is a big weapon that can easily beat the war against poverty. Hence when he came up with this idea, he started this venture in 2016 and initially his wife Priyanka supported him in his venture. He takes inspiration from the Indian Prime Minister Mann Ki Baat where he got this idea from his talk presented over the radio. So far the couple has raised 35k of raddi and will continue his efforts. Now, he is being elected as the ward Councillor he has a lot many things to do which he will start slowly and steadily.
