According to the study, the safest months – the fewest fire incidents – were the months of July, August to September, when the city usually receives fairly good rainfall.

It has also been said in the study that during these almost three months, the department had attended 130, 130, and 115 calls respectively in the last almost four years. Chief Fire Officer Rajendra Uchke has said that calls are very less during these months due to the monsoon season.
