0 active covid cases in 3 of 5 dists in Amravati divisions
In Nagpur division too, Bhandara (2), Chandrapur (1), Wardha (2), and Gondia (2) are moving towards becoming coronavirus free.
Nagpur: Buldhana has become the latest coronavirus free district of the entire Vidarbha region on Tuesday. At present, there are zero coronavirus patients under treatment in three districts of Washim, Buldhana, and Yavatmal Amravati divisions. Yavatmal has not reported any coronavirus patients for about 12 days and Washim for three days.
In Nagpur division also Chandrapur (1), Bhandara (2), Wardha (2) and Gondia (2) are moving towards becoming coronavirus free. Vidarbha region has reported only two Covid cases. Wardha and Nagpur have found 1 each. Five covid patients also recovered. Now 41 new coronavirus patients are undergoing treatment. No death was reported on Tuesday.
1,076 tests have been conducted in district Nagpur, out of which 701 were in Nagpur city itself. One patient who tested positive in Nagpur is from another state. The only patient recovering from this district is from Nagpur Rural. At present 12 covid patients in the city (NMC area), nine in rural (ZP) and one covid patient from another state are undergoing treatment.
Yavatmal: Due to no new covid patient being found in this district in the last 24 hours, it has been coronavirus free for the 12th consecutive day. The district’s toll has also remained unchanged at 1,803. The administration has received 179 investigation reports on Tuesday. The caseload of the district stands at 79,065. The mortality rate is 2.28%, the test positivity rate is 9.28%, and the daily positivity rate is 0. So far, 8,51,683 tests have been conducted in the district, in which 7,72,618 negatives have been found.
Amravati: None of the 174 samples tested in the district returned covid positive, but one recovery took the district’s tally to 1,04,317 on Tuesday. The number of patients undergoing treatment in Amravati has come down to four.
Wardha: One new coronavirus case and one recovery have been reported on Tuesday, In which the caseload has increased to 58,105 and after getting cured 57,140, Due to which two covid patients were being treated. 239 investigation reports have been received in the district. The toll remained unchanged at 1,351 with no deaths reported on Tuesday.
Chandrapur: There is no new covid case from 503 tests in this district as the number of patients has come down to two on Tuesday due to one recovery alone. The day was casualty free in the district and the district’s toll stood at 1,567. Chandrapur’s caseload remains unchanged at 98,958, while the total recovery in Chandrapur has risen to 97,389.
