315 new covid cases, but no death in region

Nagpur: Vidarbha region has registered 315 new cases in the last 24 hours with an increase of about 77% in the number of fresh covid cases as compared to the previous day (178 cases). New cases of covid came from the entire Vidarbha region, but it is dominating in municipal areas.

With covid-19 196 new cases, district Nagpur once again accounted for more than 60% of the daily caseload in the Vidarbha region, Out of which 166 covid cases came from the city limits of Nagpur. Three other municipal cities in the Vidarbha region – Chandrapur (12), Amravati (39), and Akola (28) – have together reported 79 cases.

Except Wardha district, new cases of covid have come out in all these districts. Coronavirus caseload in the Vidarbha region has reached 11,21,901 with 711 new covid cases in the first four days of the new year.

Wardha: No new corona case was registered in this district from 415 tests. The caseload has remained unchanged at 49,451, while recovery has reached 48,113 in the district on Tuesday. The number of patients treated in the district is eight. There have been no deaths due to covid, due to which the toll has remained unchanged at 1,327.

Amravati: 39 new covid cases have come out in the district on Tuesday. These cases have emerged from 773 samples tested in the last 24 hours and have taken the caseload to 96,317.

Yavatmal: The surge continues with 11 new coronavirus patients being reported in the last 24 hours. The toll remains unchanged at 1,788. Due to this, 28 patients of covid are undergoing treatment. The administration has received 942 test reports in this district, So far, out of 73,004 covid patients, 71,188 patients have been cured.

Chandrapur: This district has seen an increase of 12 cases of covid on Tuesday, Of these, eight patients of covid have been found in Chandrapur city, while two have been found in Ballarpur.

Akola: After the arrival of 28 new cases of covid after 773 tests in this district, Akola’s case has reached 57,956 on Tuesday. No recovery was reported in this district. Now 52 patients of covid are undergoing treatment.

Washim: A new patient has been found in this district and another patient has been cured. At present, four patients are under treatment in district Washim.

Buldhana: With 496 tests being conducted in this district, five new cases of coronavirus have come out on Tuesday.

Bhandara: Six new cases have come out in this district and 747 tests have been done. Currently, 21 covid patients are being treated in Bhandara.

Gondia: With the arrival of a record 14 new covid patients in this district in the last 24 hours, the caseload of Gondia has reached 41,282. Now 42 patients of covid are undergoing treatment in the district. 439 tests have been done.

Gadchiroli: Out of 1,058 tests conducted in this district, three have been found to be covid positive. A covid patient has been cured. Presently 13 patients are undergoing treatment in this district.
