5 new Coronavirus cases in Nashik, 1 in Chandrapur
For the first time in almost two weeks, there has been no recovery at all in the entire region. With this, the number of patients under treatment has also increased to 36.
Nagpur: Nagpur city (NMC area) has reported five new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours out of six Covid cases reported in 11 districts of the Vidarbha region. A new coronavirus case has also been found in district Chandrapur
For the first time in almost two weeks, there has been no recovery at all in the entire region. With this, the number of patients under treatment has also increased to 36. District Nagpur has only 17 of these, followed by Wardha, Chandrapur, and Buldhana five each. Gadchiroli and Washim have two active covid cases each. Amravati, Gondia, Yavatmal, Akola, and Bhandara have continued their zero-Covid run.
A total of 2,779 tests have been conducted in the Vidarbha region in the last 24 hours. The number of daily tests has remained just under 3,000. District Nagpur has done 516 tests, Out of which 440 were from Nagpur city itself. All the 17 under-treatment patients of district Nagpur are presently from Nagpur city and all of them are also in home isolation.
The recovery rate of the Vidarbha region has remained stable at 98.3%. Since no one has died in the 13 days of the month of May, the case fatality rate also remains unchanged at 1.69%.
Amravati: No new covid case has been reported in this district on Friday. None of the 146 samples tested in the last 24 hours turned positive at all.
Yavatmal: This district has retained its Covid-free tag even on Friday as no positive patient was reported in any way in the last 24 hours, and the toll has remained unchanged at 1,803. And with this, the administration has received reports of 426 investigations and all of them have been found negative.
Chandrapur: With the detection of the solitary cases in Chandrapur district, the active number of coronavirus in this district has gone up to five on Friday.
Wardha: No new positive case has been reported from 75 test reports in the district on Friday, While the recovery, caseload, and toll in the district remained unchanged at 57,147, 58115, and 1,351 respectively. Along with this, there are currently 5 active covid positives in the district who are undergoing treatment.
