Covid daily tests cross 10k mark after a month

Nagpur: In the last few days, there has been a significant increase in daily covid tests in the Vidarbha region. The average daily test count was less than 7,000 for the past 4 weeks. Following the omicron virus scare, some districts have once again resumed their policy of conducting random tests in the last 10 days.

The 11 districts of the Vidarbha region together have conducted around 10,681 tests and reported 22 positive patients of covid. And this means that the test positivity rate is only 0.20%.
The number of new covid cases was once again more than the number of recoveries. The number of covid patients under treatment has increased and has increased to 174, which is the highest since the month of October last week.
Wardha: Around 1 in 512 tests and positive of covid has raised the total number of cases to 49,433. While the total number of recoveries has increased to 48,098 even after giving one more left, Due to which 5 active covid positive patients were undergoing treatment. The district’s toll remained unchanged at 1,326 as no new deaths were reported on Thursday.
Yavatmal: No one died in this district on Thursday. Due to which there has been no change in the death toll of any kind.
Amravati: In the case of a new covid out of about 677 samples tested in the district, the district’s caseload has gone up to 96,143 on Thursday.
Chandrapur: After detection and correction in similar numbers on Thursday alone, the active figure for coronavirus has remained stable at 14. In Chandrapur, there was no report of any casualty.
Akola: Around 571 tests were done and 2 of them came positive for covid, The caseload has been taken to 57,906. 1 coronavirus patient has been cured.
Washim: Neither any new covid case has come up on Thursday nor has anyone recovered. Out of about 41,778 patients found so far, 41,134 have been completely cured. Treatment of 4 covid patients is going on.
Buldhana: Out of 270 tests conducted in the last 24 hours in this district, 1 report has come positive. The caseload of the district has reached 87,655, Which includes 675 deaths, and 86,969 recoveries so far. Now about 11 patients are undergoing treatment.
Gadchiroli: Out of around 1,345 tests conducted in this district in the last 24 hours, 4 have come positive. Taking the caseload of the district to 30,826.
Gondia: In this district in the last 24 hours, out of 292 tests, not a single new case of covid has come to the fore. 1 covid patient has been cured, while 2 patients are still undergoing treatment.
Bhandara: All the 431 tests done in the last 24 hours have come only covid negative. In this district, for the 5th consecutive day, not even 1 covid patient has been treated.
